How To Go To The Bathroom Wearing Shapewear?

December 23, 2020 by Robinson Leave a Comment

Unfortunately, due to societal pressures, women are more concerned about their appearances than men and thus have to go through a lot.

How To Go To The Bathroom Wearing Shapewear

To get that zero size figure or a good body isn’t an easy task.

To make it a little easier for women, bodysuits shapewear are made, although wearing them is not a piece of cake.

Bodysuits shapewear are a one-piece undergarment that is designed to make the body shape more presentable and to achieve a more fashionable figure.

It is worn by women under dresses, especially wedding dresses, to make their figures look better.

The shapewear either looks like a bathing suit or will cover your knees, thighs, or ankles, depending on what you’re getting.

Going to the bathroom while wearing shapewear can be a mess.

You might decide not to go to the bathroom at all or to take off every piece of clothing you’re wearing to do so.

Both aren’t good options, too, are they?

Standing naked in a public washroom is not what you’d want to do, and neither is not going to the washroom through an eight hour even quite possible.

Therefore, we’re here to guide you on how to use the bathroom while wearing shapewear. Almost all shapewear comes with a pre-made elasticized opening in the crotch.

However, using this opening to pee is not that seamless of a task as it sounds.

Let’s break it up into a few easy steps to make this a less hard experience for you all.

  1. Set Up The Opening

You need to spread the opening wide enough so that it touches your inner thighs.

You may want to tuck tissues on the sides to ensure that no spillage or spray ruins your shapewear or your beautiful dress.

You may cut the shapewear opening if you believe that you are a good seamstress.

  1. Sitting Technique

You can either apply the straight sitting technique or the forward mount approach.

If using the former, ensure that you’re sitting straight up and have not leaned forward or backward.

Ensure that the opening is out of the way of any wetness. If using the forward mount approach, you need to mount the toilet facing it head-on and not facing the toilet door.

Final Advice

Do not read this article and try going to the bathroom in shapewear for the first time at an event.

You really need to have some practice of this beforehand, or you’ll end up making a mess and staining that gorgeous dress of yours.

So, do give it a try at home a couple of times before you actually wear it under your favorite dress at a party.
