How To Put A Tv In The Bathroom? | 4 Things to Consider

February 15, 2021 by Robinson Leave a Comment

You might want to check out the headlines while you brush your teeth or use the toilet. You might want to watch a movie while you enjoy your bathtub.

How To Put A Tv In The Bathroom

Or you just cannot miss the last season of your favorite series, not for a second.

Though I am no fan of a tv in the washroom, entertainment can be asked for anywhere.

Below are some things you need to take care of:

  1. Look For A Waterproof Version

A regular TV might get damaged because of the moisture buildup in a washroom.

The screens may be filled with fog if you’re taking a steamy shower and ruin the entire experience.

Therefore, you need to look for one rated for outdoor and bathroom use and with built-in fog resistance.

You would not compromise on anything other than the perfect television experience in your bathroom.

Therefore, you should be very careful in choosing the right tv for your bathroom.

  1. Location

The most important task is to decide where you need to put it up. You need to know whether you want to watch it while you do your makeup or while you settle in a hot bathtub with a tub of ice-cream.

If you’re going to protect it from multiple points, you can get a swinging wall-mounted model or place it on a swiveling shelf. You might consider it behind a cabinet door or under a movable piece of art.

Glass shower walls and dividers are also a good idea. But the choice is yours since you will be enjoying the tv experience in the bathroom, and I am sure you will be making a very wise choice regarding the location.

  1. Position

Everyone hates struggling while watching television. Since it is a way of entertaining ourselves, the experience should be very relaxing.

Therefore, you should hang it low and tilted, so you don’t need to crane your neck upwards and are comfortable while watching it.

Not a good idea to go with a taught muscle at work.

  1. Keep It Portable

It’s human nature that we get bored or tired of the choices we make, mostly related to furniture or something about it.

Keeping your television portable will be wise since you might change your mind after a while. For this perching it up on a freestanding shelf can be a good idea.

Technology does wonder. TV screens embedded with bathroom mirrors are now available too, which would disappear as soon as you turn the TV off.

If you think that a TV looks awkward in your washroom, this might be the best option for you.
